Tom Cleveland
Process Safety Consultant
Tom began his journey over 20 years ago in the military, where he learned the importance of mechanical integrity and documentation as a transportation specialist. In 2013, he moved into freezer warehouse operations, working his way from cleaning floors to shipping and receiving before landing in a maintenance/refrigeration role. After years of 12-hour night shifts and a strong desire to learn refrigeration, Tom moved to day shift in 2016, performing daily rounds, compressor coalescer change-outs, strainer cleanings, and major system pump-outs. In 2018, he was promoted to PSM Coordinator, where he managed MI/PM tasks, helped lead a team of 14, and served as Incident Commander for the Hazmat team. Since entering PSM consulting in 2024, Tom has conducted multiple PHAs and compliance audits while supporting over 18 sites in managing programs and achieving compliance.

Senior Advisor
Bruce brings over 44 years of experience in Chemical Engineering, Process Safety Management, chemical plant management, process engineering, new product commercialization, and chemical company ownership. Throughout his career, he has facilitated 175+ HAZOPs, 60+ LOPAs, and 20 PSM audits across reactive chemical, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, petrochemical, and food & beverage processes. His PSM experience spans hundreds of chemicals, ranging from ammonia to zirconium tetrachloride, and includes deep knowledge of all 14 PSM elements. Bruce’s background brings a level of experience and perspective that will be a major asset as we continue expanding Macha PSM into new industries and opportunities.
