Technical Onboarding Specialist

Job Summary

Samwise is an AI-native software platform that helps industrial facilities manage their Process Safety Management programs more efficiently. We're hiring an Associate Implementation Engineer to help onboard new customers by transferring, organizing, and validating their program documentation inside Samwise, and helping us continuously improve how that process works.

This is a hands-on, detail-driven role to start: document handling, structured data entry, quality control, and learning how information should be organized within the application. No prior experience in process safety or industrial compliance is required. As you learn the product and the domain, you’ll have the opportunity to identify where our processes and tools are slow, repetitive, or error-prone, and help us improve them.

You'll join a fast-growing company, receive hands-on training, and work with an exceptional product and engineering team led by our CTO, who previously worked at Twitter and Stripe.

Responsibilities

• Enter and organize customer program information within Samwise

• Review, name and classify documents and transfer information into the appropriate fields and modules

• Spot repetitive or manual steps in the onboarding workflow and propose ways to streamline or automate them

• Track onboarding progress across multiple facilities and check completed work for accuracy & consistency

• Identify unclear or incomplete information and escalate questions to the appropriate team member

• Assist with other customer implementation and internal operations tasks as needed

• Learn the fundamentals of Process Safety Management through training and experience

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate work

• Comfortable performing detail-oriented, high-volume work early on, with an eye toward improving how it's done

• Basic proficiency with computers, web applications, spreadsheets, and digital documents

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Clear written and verbal communication

• Ability to work independently while asking questions when something is unclear

• Comfortable managing multiple assignments in a fast-moving, early-stage environment

• No previous industry or technical experience required
