How to Optimize Your PSM Program | Conclusion + Blog Series Links | Blog No. 75

[This blog series derives from a technical paper written by Eli Macha, President of Macha PSM]

PSM and RMP programs are multifaceted and can be quite unwieldy. It has been the purpose of this blog series to lay out a road map for improving PSM programs—regardless of their current state. Whether starting with a blank slate or having to completely revamp a PSM program, a host of first steps have been provided for each element; these items constitute the “to do” list. After the first steps have been established, common mistakes have been highlighted which make up the “to don’t” list. And finally, after the big rocks have been taken care of, a number of ideas and concepts were presented in order to optimize the ammonia refrigeration PSM program; these items constitute the “good to great” list. It is the hope of the author that each person responsible for their facility’s PSM program will have a clear path for improving their PSM program.
